Green T House and Holland House

Our last departure for the day, and a huge sigh of relief swept over us.  We have been going for two and a half weeks straight.  Long, arduous days working with very particular clients has left us mentally and physically drained.  So, Nicole, Rick, Lynn, Margaret and I decided to go to dinner at the Green T House, a very fancy contemporary asian restaurant.  The ambience was incredible.  As you walk into the front door you are met by a large white curtain which cascades through the doorway.  Upon entering the front foyer you see one long table in the middle of the room, with chairs that have backs that are about 8 or 10 feet tall.  Also, there are candles suspended by wire, giving off the illusion that they were floating.  THe restaurant had a white glow to it and with subtle guitar music in the background it maybe felt a bit like heaven.  For dinner I ordered Mushrooms with Pesto as an appetizer, then Fried Lamb with Goat Cheese on a bed of fried seaweed for an entree and mushroom and cappuccino soup in between.
After dinner, I met up with David, Matt, and Max and we headed to the USA House.  We were not able to get in on this night but we have our name for the future, although it was winding down by the time we arrived.   I had just received some Holland House passes so we decided to go and join the blonde beauties at the Heineken House.
None of us had been so we were unsure of what to expect.  We preloaded our card for drinks and then joined the party.  There was a band on stage playing cover songs and the libations were flowing freely.  We danced the night away, as fellow employees joined us.  It was truly a memorable Olympic experience, but a very late night as well.
